CHANGES TO BROOKHOUSE MEDICAL CENTRE

Primary Care Services within the NHS are facing transformation in order to become more resilient and sustainable for the local population they serve.

The Brookhouse practice is proposing major changes in order to become resilient. To continue to provide and improve the services for patients in the area, the practice is proposing a merger with Bangor Street Health and Resource Centre and relocating into the one building.

We engaged patients earlier this year about potentially moving to Barbara Castle way Health Centre but the unanimous view from patients was that they didn’t want to move. We are now proposing to deliver both surgeries at the Bangor Street Health and Resource Centre, in Bangor Street, BB1 6DY, from Friday 1^st December 2017.

• The surgery contact number will remain the same as 01254 287130.
• Patients will still be registered under Brookhouse Medical Centre, however all services will be provided from Bangor Street Health & Resource Centre
• To order prescriptions, you can call the dedicated phone line 01254 287141 from 9am – 12pm and 1.30pm – 4pm Monday to Thursday and 9am – 12pm on Fridays

Any patients aged 16 or over can register for the online service to make appointments or order repeat prescriptions. Please ask reception for more information.
