Our premises are purpose built with extensive and accessible car park, toilet and wheel chair access ramp.  We aim to provide a high standard of general practice, keeping up to date with modern technology yet preserving the traditional values of family medicine.

The average pay for GPs working in Shifa Surgery (Brookhouse Medical Centre has merged with Shifa Surgery) in the last financial year was £27,459 before tax and NI. This calculation is for 1 full-time GP and 4 Locums who have worked in the practice for more than 6 months.

GP Training & Medical Students

As a training practice we strive to continuously offer a high quality service to our patients and we support the development of a future generation of General Practitioners.  You may be asked for consent for a medical student to be present at your consultation but you are under no obligation and have the right to refuse consent.  You may also be offered an appointment with a GP registrar. These doctors are fully qualified have experience in several hospital specialties and are completing their specialist training as a GP.
